The Creative Arts Summer School 2024 is a free programme “promoting access, inclusion and diversity in the creative arts in Ireland”.
The programme offers a chance to explore creative interests, meet other like-minded people and get a felt sense if you would like to pursue a career in the creative industries in Ireland. There are different creative art forms being run in colleges in Dublin, Cork and Sligo in an exploratory and fun way this June.
In addition to creative arts workshops participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a number of talks and presentations from colleges including information on admissions, entry and portfolio requirements, grants, course options, student supports, creative arts career guidance and presentations from current access students. This is also a FREE programme and all course materials and lunch will be provided for participants.
So if you would like to try out different creative art forms, this is your chance! For those located in the North-West region of Ireland, the Creative Arts Summer School has partnered with ATU Sligo for Fine Art and Creative Practice workshops on 6th June – applications can be made here.
